The Benefits of Auto-Calibration With the inView 360° HD
The reviews speak for themselves: people love the inView 360 systems and how they eliminate blind spots with their revolutionary Around Vehicle Monitoring System.
However, here at RVS, we know every little detail is critical when it comes to safety. So when we received some feedback about how long (and sometimes tricky) the calibration process could be, we got to work on streamlining it...
The calibration process combines images from every camera angle (front, back, left, and right) to make a 360° birds-eye view of a vehicle’s surrounding space; it’s the defining feature of the InView 360° HD Around Vehicle Monitoring System.
That all-important process is now less time-consuming (about a 1/3rd less so) and more efficient! It’s no longer necessary to use a laptop and a thumb drive with the software loaded onto it.
The 15 minute (previously 45) procedure is now seamless--just connect a monitor and USB mouse (or an IR receiver & remote) to the InView 360 to complete the automatic calibration.
Once your calibration pads are correctly placed and visible, the GUI on your monitor walks you through the steps--it’s as easy as clicking “calibrate” after that! Of course, verifying it afterwards and refining it is necessary, but a little bit of regular maintenance goes a long way.
