Rear View Safety Highlights the Safety Benefits of Its Vehicle Backup Cameras for Buses
Rear View Safety, known for its backup camera system, offers school buses safety benefits with its equipment. The camera systems, available at https://www.RearViewSafety.com helps bus drivers navigate bus stops and parking lots in winter to ensure a safe environment for children and pedestrians.
“Having already installed thousands of vehicle backup cameras in school buses around the country, Rear View Safety understands that human lives are the most important of transported cargo. We have done our best to utterly optimize children’s safety on their way to school. Our systems offer a full view of all that is behind a school bus on the road, especially the things that would normally exist in a vehicle’s blind spot. We encourage all school districts to equip their fleets with our industry leading cameras. Our products create the most reliable environment for those driving large vehicles on the road, and parents can feel safer dropping their kids off at the bus stop knowing they’re protected by our technology,” said Eli Spalter, Account Executive of Rear View Safety.
The RVS-770613 is a rear view camera that comes complete with a 7’ digital TFT LCD color monitor with mirror image capability, a three channel multiplexer that can connect to a DVD player or other cameras, the 130degree sharp CCD vehicle backup camera, and an automatic switch so the camera will immediately activate when the vehicle is in reverse. This system is weather proof making it ideal for use in winter months and has an IP68 rating, shock resistant with a 15G impact rating, and has a monitor with night vision capabilities. The package costs $249.99, and includes a full year long warranty.
For those school buses already equipped with a backup camera system who want to further monitor the safety of their passengers should consider Rear View Safety’s 4 Channel Mini Mobile DVR, model RVS-870N. The mobile DVR works perfectly to store everything recorded by up to four cameras, both inside and outside the vehicle, viewable at a later date through connection to a PC. The system includes a GPS system, along with 3G sensor support, which help those monitoring the traffic of the school bus to see both where it was during the footage, displayed in the computer interface with Google Maps integration, as well as how fast the vehicle was going at the time it was recorded. The 4 Channel Mini Mobile DVR can be purchased for $459.99, and is easy to install.
