After hours spent on the road, nothing beats a good truck stop to break the monotony and just relax. With so much highway and truck stops to go with it, chances are that you won’t always come across a great one that often.
That being said, here are a few of the more highly-touted truck-stops that go above and beyond just providing the basic necessities:
Jubitz (Portland, OR)
Located off the I-5 at exit 307 near the Portland International Airport, Jubitz is one of the most popular and well-known truck stops.

Little America Travel Center (Little America, WY)
Friend to both road-trippers and truckers alike, the original location of the Little America mini-chain is home to a well-stocked convenience store, marble showers. a hotel, a great grill & deli, proximity to national parks and historic sites, and their famous $.75 ice cream cones!
While those are all awesome on their own, what really sets them apart is their larger-than-usual parking space (accommodating up to 150+ trucks), complete with 16 fueling islands and full-service maintenance for semis.
North Forty Truck Stop (Holladay, TN)
What’s not to love about North 40?
With overnight parking, great service, clean facilities, Wi-Fi, showers, and a 24-hour restaurant, North 40 checks off the boxes for standard amenities. However, it’s the extras like their barber shop, laundromat, masseuse, game room, breakfast buffet, and famous fried pies that make them a standout!
