#1 Reason To NEVER Use a Selfie Stick in a Moving Vehicle... A Dash Cam is a Better Option
We'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that an operational vehicle is no place for a selfie stick.
Car singalongs have been going viral a lot in the last year. There was that video of a cop singing "Shake It Off", James Corden performed a singalong skit with Jennifer Hudson and Mariah Carey, and even Taylor Swift got in on the action in November. But people, it has to stop. It has to stop now.
We're all for good singalongs — especially on a road trip — but the video above shows just how easily your viral video in the making can turn tragic.
Fortunately, everyone in this car was OK. A tire blew out while they were filming, but the situation could easily have been much worse. No one should ever die with a selfie stick in their hand.
